Maintenance:
– Do not shake your compressed can of air. You shouldn’t be able to see the white stuff spraying out at any time. –
When lubricating the X-axis, be sure to also lubricate the under side of the rail. There are nozzle adaptors you can print for this. –
When lubricating the Y-axis, there are nozzles you can print for the lube tube. There are also tools you can print to help spread the lube on either axis (X or Y). –
The Z-axis is the only one you want to use the grease on. You can print a nice syringe to use that has an adaptor on the tip to apply the grease evenly. –
When unloading filament from the PTFE tubes, it’s a good idea to have some filament clips printed and ready to help keep the filament from unraveling. –
Extra clips can be printed for the PTFE tubes and power cable. This can help keep them all in the same area.
